User Acceptance Testing Officer Job - Version2 LLC in Doha

OPERATIONAL (100%)
• Review and understand system changes and new system functionality.
• Work closely with user departments, business analysts, suppliers and subcontractors to understand the system functionality and business requirements.
• Work with users to specify the desired output and functionality from new and existing systems.
• Develop test plans, test scripts, test cases, test data and testing plans with user departments.
• Identify suitable test automation solutions/options to simulate regression and load testing situations.
• Standardize practices and procedures based on a system life cycle methodology of the Bank.
• Ensure tests and procedures are properly implemented and product modifications are further investigated, if necessary. Work with users, business analysis and development teams to agree new features and enhancements to existing and/or new systems to close the identified issues.
• Ensure compliance with all Banks’ life cycle policies & procedures which define the scope of the QA reviews and the reporting requirements, amongst other matters and which are in line with applicable QCB guidelines/ regulations.
• Measure progress against timelines and escalate all significant issues to management.
• Promote consistency across the Bank in the application and measurement of system quality and performance.
• Review the Bank’s forms and reports to ensure adherence to user needs and adaptability to system changes. Also, recommend new forms and reports if necessary.
• Provide inputs to plan timelines for both software development and quality assurance.
• Review the UAT results, highlight issues and ensure appropriate solutions are implemented to resolve identified issues.
• Work with development team to coordinate the smooth integration of features and their delivery.
• Assist in identifying and resolving post-go-live incidents in an effective and timely manner.
• Conduct post implementation review on new system implementations as well as significant changes to existing systems to identify shortfalls in the system. Provide appropriate recommendations to resolve identified shortfalls.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
• Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the Compliance function as and when required.Job Details
